INTRODUCTION: The wise men came probably from Babylon in search of Him who was born King of the Jews. They found Him in the city of Bethlehem. They were God fearing men and were very bold in the search.

The Wise Men:

1. Witnessed Him
2. Worshipped Him
3. Walked a new road after meeting Him

1. THEY CAME SEEKING THE SAVIOR ---Matthew 2:1-2
   A.. Wise men always seek Him
   B. Wise men always secure Him
   C. Wise men always serve Him
   D. Wise men always share Him
   
2. THEY CAME FOLLOWING THE SIGN---Matthew 2:2, 2:9-19
   A. The star directed them to the Savior
   B. The spirit will direct us to the Savior
   C. The scripture will direct us to the Savior
   
3. THEY CAME GIVING OF THEIR SUBSTANCE---Matthew 2:11
   A. Gold -- represents the power and wealth of a king
   B. Frankincense -- represents the worship and praise of God
   C.Myrrh -- represents the suffering for an atoning Savior
        1. We are to give our time, talents and treasures
        2. Have you given yourself?
   CONCLUSION: Wise men in every age have sought the Lord, and after meeting Him, they have always walked a new road
